Install short struts from each of the long
struts to the forklift plate.
installation by removing any pre-attached
fasteners.
Attach the top end of the short strut to
the corresponding hole on the long strut
washer.
Repeat procedure for both short struts.
Install bolts loosely before proceeding.
Align hole on the lower end of the short
strut with the corresponding hole in the
washer through the strut and into the base.
Repeat procedure for both short struts.
Install bolts loosely before proceeding.
Once all fasteners have been installed
loosely in the outriggers, long struts, and
short struts, go back and tighten each
bolt assembly to meet the below torque
requirements.
Torque 1/2-13 grade 8 bolts to 100 ft.-lbs.
Torque 3/4-10 grade 8 bolts to 100 ft.-lbs.
