5.2 Special safety instructions

Work with the lifting column may only take place in accordance with these instructions.
•
The device may only be opened by authorized specialist personnel. If there is a fault with the
lifting column, we recommend that you contact the manufacturer or send this lifting column
for repair.
•
Unauthorized conversions of or changes to the lifting column are not permitted for safety re-
asons.
•
The compressive and tensile forces and torque loading of these lifting columns specified by
RK Rose+Krieger GmbH must not be exceeded.
•
The type plate must remain legible. It must be possible to identify the ratings data effortlessly
at any time.
•
Safety-relevant hazard symbols identify danger areas on the product.
•
The electric adjustment drive is not a toy for children! Unsupervised actuation of the drive is
forbidden.
•
Incorrect use of the application area of the single drive agreed and approved between the ma-
nufacturer and customer is also unauthorised!
The end product of the re-user must not present a danger to persons. Danger points
on the end product of the re-user must be reduced to a minimum constructively.
Danger points must be marked.
Safety-relevant devices must be inspected at regular intervals, but at least once a year, for proper function,
damage and completeness.
