PURGE START: The start of the purge cycle can be triggered
automatically after the measurement process or manually. To
start the cycle manually, press PURGE to trigger the purge
cycle.
Default setting: auto
Note: The PURGE START button is only active when the purge
time setting is ON.

Configure the required settings and press OK to confirm.
Execution of a Stored Program
1.
Access the required test via STORED PROGRAMS.
2.
Place the feed tube in the zero solution and press ZERO.
The zero solution is sucked in over the selected sip time. Once the
settle time has passed, the zero measurement is taken.
Note: The remaining time is shown on the display. Press CANCEL
to abort the operation.
Note: If the PURGE START: AUTO setting has been activated in
the Sipper options menu, the rinse agent is sucked in automatically
once the measurement process is complete.
The zero measurement is shown on the display.

Place the feed tube in the sample solution and press READ.
The sample solution is sucked in over the selected sip time. Once
the settle time has passed, the measurement is taken.
Note: The remaining time is shown on the display. Press CANCEL
to abort the operation.
Note: If the PURGE START: AUTO setting has been activated in
the Sipper options menu, the rinse agent is sucked in automatically
once the measurement process is complete.
Note: Either deionized water or the next sample can be used as a
rinse agent.

For the tests listed in

1, the Pour-Thru Cell requires a purge cycle
with deionized water between samples.

The Pour-Thru Cell can also be used for the Nessler Method for
ammonia and TKN if cleaned correctly. Pour a few sodium thiosulfate
crystals into the cell to clean it. Rinse out the crystals with deionized
water.
