When the power is connected and turned on the display lights up
and the EDILKAMIN logo is displayed (Illustr. 2). FIRETRONIX
can be operated manually or automatically; in any case it is
based on pre-set power levels (P1, P2 and P3). The system will
attempt to reach the target smoke temperature for the selected
power level by moving the air and smoke dampers. In this way
not only will it consume the correct amount of fuel but it will also
prevent the room from overheating.
Press the key for 1 second to turn the system on
"ON" will appear on the display accompanied by an acoustic
signal; "START" will then appear on the display indicating that
the start phase has begun (Illustr. 3).
The fireplace waits for the smoke temperature to reach a given
value, after which it switches to the MANUAL or AUTOMATIC
operating mode.
If the temperature remains low for a certain period of time, the
system switches to a passive safety mode: STOP FIRE (Illustr. 4).
To exit that mode, press the
system back on. When on, any information required will be
shown on the display.
The flame indicates the power level that the fireplace is working
at in manual mode; press the
which the power level can be selected: from P1 to P3 followed
by the automatic mode option. In automatic mode, the system
attempts to reach the target temperature by autonomously selec-
ting the power level P1, P2 or P3 (Illustr. 6).
Press the key to set the target temperature.
The target temperature is displayed in large characters at the
centre of the main screen, whilst the temperature read by the
ambient probe is displayed in small flashing characters (Illustr.
5).
The ambient temperature probe is located on the panel; the
customer may wish to position the probe somewhere else.
An additional temperature probe can be added at any point in
the room where the fireplace is installed or ducted by contacting
an EDILKAMIN dealer.
FIRETRONIX is also equipped with an electronically managed
ventilation system.
Ventilation power can be set at one of three levels: V1, V2 or
V3. An automatic mode is also available to regulate power con-
tinuously from 0% to 100% according to the smoke temperatu-
re (Illustr. 7); ventilation can also be disabled.
Press the key to select the power level.
The system detects when the wood is about to run out and
displays the load message on the screen (Illustr. 8). After a short
while, if no wood is loaded the fireplace will switch off in "STOP
FIRE" mode; if loaded, the fireplace will switch to on.
