Motor Start Up
• Ground the generator. Disconnect all the power devices
from the connection panel.
• Turn the fuel stopcock into the ON position (A).
• Double check the overload thermal protector (B) is in
the OFF position. Move the lever down.
• Pull the choke valve (C) into the OFF position.
• Insert the key into the switch (D) and turn it into the
START position.
• After the engine starts turn the switch back into the ON
position.
• When the engine runs in a stable manner push the
choke valve to the ON position.
• Let the engine get hot and stabilize a couple of minutes
to start connecting power devices.
Sockets in the Connection Panel
• If the devices you are using are powered with 127 V and
have a two terminal single plugs and / or are grounded, use
the 127 V double sockets.
• If the devices you are using are powered with 220 V use
the 5P (3P + N + )* socket.
* 3 P = 3 phase | N= Neutral |
• The 5 prong plug (5P) is included with the generator.
To connect the devices, follow these steps:
1. Loosen the screws (E) and remove the connection
block (F).
2. Loosen the base of the plug (G) and run the wires of the
device through the plug body.
3. Make the required connection for the proper operation of
your device as described in the following table.
Note: The connection terminals are marked on the back of the
block (H)
4. Secure the wiring with the anchoring system that is attached to
the block connection and assembly again each part of the plug.

CAUTION
• Voltage between 2 phases (any phase) will always be 220 V
CAUTION
• Voltage between 1 phase (any phase) and Neutral will always be 127 V
• For security reasons always connect the ground in the terminal.
CAUTION
Each phase of the 5P operation is shared with each of the 127 V polarized double sockets. Therefore, the total load shall be
shared between each phase.
