5.7.1. Spring preload (rear suspension)

To use the motorcycle in every driving configura-
tion (see table), it is recommended to perform the
adjustment of the spring preload according to the
following procedure.
In order to facilitate the adjustment operations,
it is advisable to remove the right side case (see
§4.8.), disassemble the right footrest support
screws and move the footrest support downwards.
Slightly slacken the fixing screw of the rear
shock absorber ring nut.
