ADJUSTMENTS
Insert a punch in one of the side bores of the
Counterclockwise
rear shock absorber ring nut.
Rotate the ring nut to adjust the spring preload.
Clockwise
The adjustment is obtained from the reference
standard position (see table). Rotate clockwise to
increase the spring preload or counterclockwise
to decrease it.

Once the adjustment operations have been
completed, manually tighten the ring nut screw.
If it had been removed, reassemble the right
footrest support and tighten its fixing screws at a
tightening torque of 24 Nm by using a torque
wrench. Reassemble the right side case as
described in §4.8.
