Operation:
• Prior to starting operation, the control knob (Fig. 8, Item 3) should be set to position „0".
• In order to switch the device on it is necessary to turn the knob to the right and to set the desired target
temperature. The operation of the device is signaled by the green indicator lamp, the orange lamp lights
up when the water contained in the heating chamber is being heated up, and goes off when the desired
temperature is reached.
• The Bain Marie is equipped with a safety mechanism that will automatically cut off the power supply in the
event the nominal operating temperature of the device is exceeded. After the cause of the irregularities is
removed, it is necessary to press the safety button (Fig. 8, Item 1).
Switching the device off:
• in order to switch the Bain Marie off turn the knob counter-clockwise to position „0" (the green indicator
lamp will go off) and disconnect the device from the power supply

Emptying of the chamber:
After the operation of the device is completed it is necessary to empty the heating chamber. These activities
should be performed with extreme caution. Remember to ensure that the water is not hot. Hot water
can cause the risk of burns.
• Screw the metal elbow pipe into the drain hole (with the outlet pointing down) and place a container for
water under the elbow pipe outlet
• In order to empty the heating chamber it is necessary to raise the security lock and then move the water
drain lever to the right
• After the chamber is emptied close the drain valve by moving the lever to the left and unscrew the elbow
pipe.

CAUTION!
Do not move the device when:
• the power cable is connected to the socket,
• the working surface is not cooled down,
• there are any contents in the chamber and/or GN containers are inserted in the chamber
6. MAINTENANCE
Before starting any maintenance works it is necessary to disconnect the device from the power supply.
