1-8 TRAINING
Activities at height are dangerous and can cause
serious accidents and injuries. We remind you that
you are personally liable in the case of an accident,
injury or fatality to either yourself or a third party
during or following the use of one of our products.
The use of our products is reserved to authorized
persons who have gone through the proper trai-
ning or who are operating under the supervision
and instruction of an authorized superior.
Ensure that you have been adequately trained in
the use of this PPE and make sure that you fully
understand how it works. If there is any doubt, do
not take any risks but rather seek advice. Good
physical condition is required in order to carry out
work at height. Certain medical contraindications
can threaten the user's safety (taking medications,
cardiovascular problems, etc.) during normal use
of the PPE and in emergencies. In any case of
doubt, consult your physician.
The product must not be used by persons wei-
ghing more than 140 kilograms Clothing and
equipment included..
2 - PRIOR USE INFORMATION
Whenever possible, it is strongly recommended that
this equipment is personally assigned to a single user.
2-1 TRANSPORTATION, STORAGE AND
PACKAGING
Store away from sources of heat. Store the harness
away from humidity and ultraviolet light,
Avoid any atmosphere that is corrosive or excessively
hot or refrigerated.
During transport, check that your PPE is stored well
away from any source of heat, damp, corrosive atmos-
phere, ultraviolet rays, etc. ... This harness is sold in rot
proof and waterproof plastic packaging, with its ins-
tructions for use.
2-2 HOW TO SELECT THE APPROPRIATE SIZE
(cf. p 3)
2-3 CHECKING
Before each use, carry out a thorough visual examina-
tion to ensure that the PPE, as well as any other equip-
ment that may be attached to it (connector, lanyard,
etc.) is complete. Make all necessary arrangements
for the implementation of any rescue in total safety.
In the event of your product being damaged, consult
the manufacturer or his agent. If you have any doubts
regarding the safe condition of the product, or if the
product has been used to arrest a fall, it is essential to
your personal safety that the PPE be withdrawn from
service and sent back to the manufacturer or a qua-
lified repair centre for checking, or destruction. Fol-
lowing examination, the centre will either deliver or re-

fuse written authorisation to re-use the PPE. It is strictly
forbidden to modify or repair a PPE yourself. Only the
manufacturer or a repair centre is qualified to carry out
these repairs.
Check the serviceable condition of the harness: (cf.VII) :
No incipient breaks in the webbing,
No deformation of the D-links,
Correct operation of the buckle systems,
Integrity of the seams,
Good condition of the metal components.
The non-tripping of the fall indicators
Your harness may have several fall indicators :
On the back plate (where the back D-Ring is) : if
this fall indicator is triggered, an element of the
back plate will break.
On the front webbing loops (front attachment
webbing points) : if this fall indicator is triggered,
the red stitching on each chest webbing loops will
break. A fall indicator will then be visible (warning
label indicating that the product should not be
used anymore)
On the chest strap (chest attachment point via
one D-Ring) : if this fall indicator is triggered, the
red stitching on the chest strap will break.
2-4 PUTTING AND ADJUSTMENT ON THE FALL
ARREST HARNESS
Please proceed as follows in order to put your harness
on without difficulty (cf. I):
Take the harness by the Back 'D' ring,
Put on the shoulder straps one after the other,
Pass the thigh straps between your legs, in order
to lock them into the buckles on either side of
your hips. Be careful not to cross the thigh straps
Adjust the thigh straps by pulling or releasing the
strap end (cf. G)
Close the chest strap,
