PROBLEM
Water cannot be pumped or the water flow
is too small
Excessive current or it shuts OFF frequently
The motor resistance to heat is too low or
the ground leak protector is triggered
The motor does not start but seems it has
power

TROUBLESHOOTING

CAUSE
• The motor does not start.
• Blockage in the pipes or in the screen.
• Blockage in the impeller or wear in the
float ring or the ring seal in the guide
paddle.
• Pipes are broken or is leaking water.
• Water flow is too large or flow is too
small in the well and is lower than the
one in the pump.
• The flow rate is too high / height is too
short inside the well and is below the
pump.
• The pump axis bends / the impeller is
blocked.
• The rotator is block or the thrust
bearing is extremely worn.
• The rubber cable is broken.
• The motor sealing is faulty.
• Fault in the phase.
• Power drop.
SOLUTION
• Check for fault in a phase or no contact.
• Check if the cable has a lower gauge. If this
is the case, use a cable with a higher diameter.
• Check if the control box is adequate.
• Choose the right control box.
• Clean the piping and screen
• Remove the debris inside the pump or replace
the impeller, the guide paddle and the ring
seal.
• Repair or replace the pipes.
• Replace the small flow pump or stop it for a
moment and restart the pump until there is
enough water flowing in the well.
• Adjust the flow valve to reduce the flow.
• Lower the load in the motor or replace with
a pump for low height.
• Go to a
Center.
• Go to a
Center.
• Replace the cable.
• Turn OFF the pump to carry out maintenance
and check everything is tight.
• Replace the cable and connect the fuse.
• Remedy the power drop to comply with the
specified requirements.
