PREPARATION
- Unscrew the insert from the handpiece with
the torque wrench.
MATERIALS NECESSARY
- Enzymatic detergent with pH 6-9
- Water
- Container for immersion in enzymatic
solution
- Brush with soft nylon bristles
- Compressed air
- Ultrasound tank
- Distilled water
- Single-use sterilization pouches
- Steam autoclave
- Syringe
- Thermodisinfector
02.1 Û PRE-CLEANING WITH ENZYMATIC DETERGENT
02 Û PRE-CLEANING
CAUTION: Always unscrew the insert
from the handpiece before proceeding to
its cleaning and sterilization.
CAUTION: Do not use hydrogen
peroxide. If you intend to disinfect the
inserts, do not use hydrogen peroxide, but
only disinfectants with neutral pH (pH7);
always rinse with sterile water to preserve
the disinfection.
CAUTION: Once used, correctly dispose
of the enzymatic detergent solution, do
not recycle.
Prepare a mild pH (6-9) enzymatic

detergent solution* according to the
manufacturer's specifications;
* Enzymatic detergent Enzymec (Mectron), process
validated by an independent institute.
Lay the inserts horizontally in a clean

container;
Add a sufficient amount of the prepared
enzymatic detergent solution to the
container to cover the inserts;
