LANGUAGE CHECK CONFIGURATION,
DEFINING THE BOWL WEIGHT AND
STANDARDIZING PROGRAMMES
The Masterbox menu lists five languages (D, GB, I, F,
E). If the unit is not set to your preferred language,
switch it off again. Press the "Enter" key (2) and
"Start/Stop" key (5) simultaneously and switch the
unit on again. The unit is then in default mode. Turn
the "Multifunctional" knob (3) to select the required
language and press the "Enter" key. Once the lang-
uage has been set, you will be in menu 1 where the
following can be set up (select with the multifunctio-
nal knob):
CONTAINER CONFIGURATION
Presets all as yet unchanged settings for the entire
system (water amount, bowl check, programme na-
me). If „Save Yes/No" is answered with „Yes", all set-
tings which have remained unchanged so far will be
stored in programmes 1-20 with the values defined
at this stage.
BOWL WEIGHTS
These values define the permissible weights. The
weights of the AmannGirrbach mixing bowls are sa-
ved in advance. They can be overwritten with 4 cus-
tom bowl weights.
SETTING CUSTOM BOWL WEIGHTS
_Press the "Weight" key (4) in standard mode and
weigh your mixing bowl separately. Note the weight
of your mixing bowl.
_Activate the default mode. (Press the "Start/Stop"
and "Enter" keys simultaneously, hold them down
and switch the unit on). Press the "Enter" key (2)
to save the desired language. Then use the multi-
functional knob (3) to select „Bowl weights" in the
menu.
_The LCD then indicates the bowl name "250 ml" on
the left side and the preprogrammed bowl weight
(AmannGirrbach Smartmix bowl) in grammes on
the right.
_The multifunctional knob can then be turned to ad-
just the preprogrammed bowl weight to the weight
of your own bowl in 5 gramme stages.
_Press the "Enter" key (2) to proceed automatically
to the second of the 4 programmable bowl weights.
(250 ml, 500 ml, 750 ml and 1,000 ml correspon-
ding to small, medium, large and extra large bowl
sizes). Turn the multifunctional knob to adjust the
unit to the weight of your second bowl and press
the "Enter" key again (2).

_The weights of the two remaining bowls can be sa-
ved using the same procedure. If no further bowl
weights need to be saved, simply skip them by
pressing the "Enter" key (2).
_Once the last bowl weight has been saved („1000
ml") you will be asked „Save Yes/No". If "Yes" is se-
lected the bowl check will only respond to the bowl
weights saved by you.
_Standardizing programmes. The plaster amount is
set to 500 g for all programmes (1-20) as are the
water amount, bowl check and programme name
settings entered in the menu under "Container con-
figuration".
Caution!
Prior to answering the confirmation enquiry (save
Yes/No), make certain that you really want to stan-
dardize all programmes! Any custom settings saved
previously will be overwritten!
_Quitting configuration
Confirm this menu position to revert to standard
mode.
