General safety regulations
HTC 130 may only be used for grinding and polishing natural stone, terrazzo, concrete or
other materials stated in this manual.
HTC 130 must not be used where there is a risk of explosion or fire.
Use personal safety equipment in the form of shoes with steel toecaps, hearing protection,
safety goggles and safety gloves*.
Do not start the machine with the grinding wheel spinning freely in the air. The grinding
wheel must always be in contact with the surface to be processed.
Do not start the machine without the proper spray guard.
Use only cold water to fill the tank.
Switch off the electric power supply before changing the grinding wheel.
When filling the tank with water, take care to avoid electrical dangers and injury.
Only lift the machine in the specified way. See page 6.
For dry-grinding, a dust separator of sufficient capacity must be connected to the machine.
Only trained personnel are permitted to maintain and service the machine.
The machine must not be operated on sloping surfaces.
Some parts under the machine may have sharp edges.
When the machine is in use, only the driver is allowed in its vicinity.
* Concrete dust and stone dust have a severe drying effect. Use safety gloves.
