PRECAUTIONS
• Do not begin clinical use without reviewing the
Instructions for Use (this document).
• Surgeons and operating room staff must be
completely familiar with the surgical technique
appropriate for use with these instruments.
• Inspect for damage prior to use. Replace a
damaged, worn, or bent instrument. Do not attempt
to sharpen, straighten, or repair.
• Do not use an instrument for any other purpose
other than its intended use; this may damage the
instrument.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
1. Set the desired tunnel diameter by twisting the
grey size selection wheel.
2. Drill the Retroreamer into the bone anterograde
until the distal laser line is entirely visible (beyond
the aperture of the bone surface).
3. Twist the red deployment knob clockwise to deploy
the blade. An audible/tactile click indicates that the
blade is fully deployed.
4. Reference the Retroreamer sleeve depth markings
to indicate the total bone and tunnel depths while
retrograde reaming the tunnel.
5. Retract the Retroreamer blade by rotating the handle
counter-clockwise once tunnel reaming is complete.
Disengage the sleeve from the Retroreamer and
remove the Retroreamer from the sleeve.
6. Reassemble the sleeve onto the Retroreamer shaft
if the device will be used to create additional holes
in the same procedure. The device may be used
multiple times in the same case but is not intended
to be re-used/re-sterilized.
STORAGE
Sterile product, once opened, should be used in
surgery or discarded.
Never return to storage.
