During the time the cause of fault is diagnosed, the control outputs are deactivated
- Burner remains shut down
- External fault indication remains deactivated
- Fault status signal «AL» at terminal 10, according to the error code table
The diagnostics of the cause of fault is quit and the burner switched on again by reset-ting the burner
control. Press the lockout reset button for about 1 second (< 3 seconds).
Checks and adjustments during operation
• Connect a combustion analyzer to the boiler outlet and leave the burner working at full rate for 10
minutes; meanwhile, check the fume extraction duct works properly.
• Check the combustion and if necessary adjust the power.
• Slowly adjust the gas valve (see fig. 9) and if necessary the air gate (see fig. 8). Using the combustion
analyzer, check the content of O2 in the fumes that must be between 3% and 5%.
• Carry out a number of ignitions in succession. If the flame splutters or ignition is difficult, also adjust
the head (fig. 9), checking the content of O2 in the fumes with the combustion analyzer.
• Check that the pressure in the combustion chamber is as indicated by the manufacturer of the boiler
unit
• Carry out a thorough analysis of the combustion fumes and check that the limits set by current stan-
dards are observed.
