3 - MACHINE DESCRIPTION
3.1 Operating cycle description
The water arriving from the mains through a motor pump, adjusted to a pressure between 9 and 10
bar (0.9 – 1 MPa), goes through a pressure relief valve, adjusted to 12 bar (1.2 MPa), allowing both
the boiler and the heat exchanger to be filled. The water in the boiler, heated by a resistor, in turn heats
the water in the heat exchanger, which, thanks to a drip riser, is sent to the group in order to brew the
coffee by means of an electronically-controlled valve.
