The safe busnode UE 4215 may only be assembled, operated and
maintained by specialist personnel. Specialist personnel are defined
as persons who
have undergone the appropriate technical training
and
who have been instructed by the responsible machine operator in
the operation of the machine and the current valid safety guide-
lines
and
who have access to these operating instructions.
#
The safe busnode UE 4215 is a decentral data entry assembly for the
integration of safety components in the safety bus system
AS-interface Safety at Work with the enclosure rating IP 67. It acts as
a slave in the AS-interface network (AS-interface profile S-O.B.E.) for
reading ESPE with two tested semiconductor switching outputs. The
maximum number of modules of this type per master is 31.
The safe busnode UE 4215 is certified in compliance with EN 954
category 4.
The safe busnode UE 4215 must be used only as defined in chapter
2.2 "Applications of the device". It must be used only by qualified
personnel and only on the machine/system where it has been
installed and initialised by qualified personnel in accordance with
