PECIAL FEATURES
High-quality M-LINK current sensor for measuring currents
flowing in the model. Maximum continuous current 150 A.
Once the connecting leads have been soldered to the unit, the
sensor can be used for its base function of "monitoring the
actual current flowing in A (Ampère) at Address 3" without
further configuration work.
RESET button on the top of the current sensor:
Convenient method of resetting option values such as maxi-
mum current, and for resetting the electronic fuel gauge
(integral charge counter).
Can be configured individually using the MULTImate (# 8 2094)
or the MULTIPLEX Launcher PC program:
Display of residual charge quantity:
In this guise the current sensor becomes an "electronic
fuel gauge for the flight battery".
In future you don't have to use a timer to limit your flights.
Instead you can assess the actual residual charge in your
flight battery, and protect your batteries from damage due
to deep-discharging.
Setting warning thresholds:
Provides audible and visual warnings when limit values are
exceeded.
Example: you set the threshold to warn when the flight
battery's residual capacity falls to 800 mAh: when the
threshold is reached, an audible alarm sounds. At the same
time the transmitter screen switches to the address at which
the flight pack's actual residual capacity is displayed.
Activation of supplementary option values:
Minimum, maximum or average values.

Individual address assignment for the various measure-
ment values and option values.
After individual configuration, a maximum of three tele-
metry values can be transmitted to the transmitter screen
or the Telemetry-Display (# 4 5182).

OMPATIBILITY
If a telemetry-capable M-LINK receiver is used, the sensor
data can be passed directly to certain transmitters or the Tele-
metry-Display (# 4 5182), where the information can be
displayed. As of June 2011, these are:
ROYALevo/pro with the HFM4 M-LINK RF module and
V3.XX firmware or later,
COCKPIT SX M-LINK with V3.04 firmware version or later,
MULTIPLEX and Graupner/JR transmitters equipped with
the Telemetry-Display.
An "address" between 0 and 15 must first be assigned to each
telemetry value.
The "address" means the following:
the screen line on the ROYALevo/pro transmitter,
the INFO display on the COCKPIT SX M-LINK transmitter,
the screen line on the Telemetry-Display,
at which the telemetry value is displayed.
M-LINK sensors are connected to the receiver and to each
other via the MULTIPLEX Sensor Bus (MSB) (
A maximum of sixteen sensors can be connected to the
MULTIPLEX Sensor Bus (MSB), i.e. up to sixteen addresses
can be assigned for measurement and option values.
Each address may only be allocated once amongst all the
sensors which are operated in conjunction with one receiver. If
you set the address to "off", then that value is not monitored.
The facilities for visual and / or audible display of telemetry
data vary according to the M-LINK transmitter or RF module
you are using.

AFETY NOTES
! Read the instructions in full before using the unit.
! Use the unit for the intended applications only (
! Always use cables and connector systems of adequate
conductor cross-section (
! Always take care to maintain correct polarity and pin
assignments. Never connect the components with
reversed polarity.

PPLICATIONS
The Current Sensor 150 A (# 8 5405) has been developed ex-
clusively for model sport applications. It is prohibited to use the
unit in any form of personal transport or industrial application.
! Note: for technical reasons the accuracy of the Current
Sensor 150 A is at a maximum at high currents. If you intend to
use the current sensor exclusively to measure much lower
currents, we recommend that you consider one of our "smaller"
M-LINK current sensors, such as:
Current Sensor 35 A with M6 connector system (# 8 5403), or
Current Sensor 35 A without connector system (# 8 5404).
For technical reasons the value "0.0 A" is displayed, and the
charge counter remains unchanged, if the current is below 2.4 A.
