• If a regatta has already been timed and is in the memory, the display will

be activated with a long press on P1. The seconds hand moves to the value
defined in the countdown settings, which is 5 hours by default, and becomes
the minutes countdown hand; at the same time, the upper display shows
xx (xx corresponding to the regatta number) and the lower display

shows 05:00. For countdowns longer than 10 minutes, the second hand
remains positioned on 10.
• Press on P1 to start the countdown, the upper display will show
then (the default value or the current minute, but a maximum of
FIVE
the lower display counts down the time and the seconds hand shows the
minutes completed anticlockwise (with one step every 12 seconds) for up to a
minute. During the last minute, the seconds hand shifts to display the seconds
up to 0.
c) Using the regatta chronograph – special functions during the countdown
• During the countdown, the counter may be stopped and restarted; stopping
takes place by giving a long press on P1 and restarting with a short press on P1.
• It is also possible to reinitialize the countdown to the previous value by giving
a long press on P2.
• The countdown can be resynchronized to the upper or lower minute, as
follows:
