Malfunction
Power indicator (1) stays inactive
VITO® makes loud noises at
filtration
Power Indicator (1) flashes and/or
acoustic indicator is beeping
Power Indicator (1) and filtration in-
dicator (2) flashing (VITO® 80 beeps
additionally)
VITO® cannot be started
Line fuse / Ground fault circuit
interrupter (GFCI) blowout
Low filtration performance
Oil splashes at sides / on top
LEDs flash 10 sec. after plugging in

Possible cause
• Power cord (8) not plugged in
• Power cord (8) / connector is
defective
• Star handles (5) are too loose
• Rotor scratches on the fryer
• Rotor defective
Sensor switch defective
• VITO® is tilted more than 15°
• Strong vibrations
• Electrical unit (6) defective
• Net protection or other elec-
tronic components are blocking
• Rotor defective
• Circuit overloaded
• Particle filter is full
• Pump pipe is blocked
• Motor is defective
• Particle filter blocked
• Too much space between filter
lid and pump filter unit (9)
• Filter is inserted incorrectly
• Push button (3) is defective
