9. MAINTENANCE, SERVICING AND REPAIR
Performance of preventive maintenance is not essential. Regular maintenance can,
however, contribute to identifying potential problems before they become serious; thus,
enhancing the instrument's reliability and extending its useful operating life.
Maintenance services can be obtained from your local representative or from the
manufacturer.
Defective items of equipment are to be serviced and repaired exclusively by persons
authorized by the manufacturer. All repair work shall employ original manufacturer's
parts only.

9.1 LAMP REPLACEMENT

CAUTION Always disconnect power cord and turn main switch off before lamp
replacement.
Use lamp replacement EJA type, rated 150 WATT, 21 Volts
Turn light source off. Allow light source to cool completely. Disconnect power cord
from outlet. Use a flathead screwdriver or coin, turn the large screw located on lamp
compartment door counter-clockwise one-quarter turn.
upward. This will open the door of the light source. You should now see the inside
portion of the lamp compartment. To remove the lamp, push the lever toward the
back of the unit; this will raise the lamp. Remove the lamp and replace with the new
lamp. Close the lamp door and secure with the large screw. Plug the unit into the
outlet and turn the power on.
