4. attach inlet Water Supply
if local codes do not permit the use of a supply adapter,
alternate connectors can be obtained from your local supplier.
the included supply adapter fits 1/2 x 14 nPS connections.
F. locate and close the cold water shut-off valve under your
kitchen sink. open cold water line of faucet to release
water pressure.
g. unscrew and disconnect the braided tubing on top of the
shut-off valve .
H. attach the bottom of angle stop valve to the existing cold
water shut-off valve.
i. attach the braided tubing to the top of the angle stop valve.
J. Close side valve on angle stop valve and open cold water
shut-off valve to return water service to kitchen sink.
Check for leaks.
notE: plumber tape is not required for these next steps.
K. Measure length of tubing needed to connect angle stop
valve to the filter head. allow adequate tubing to avoid
sharp turns.
l. Cut tubing at a 90° angle using a sharp knife.
M. insert ends of tubing into quick-connect fittings. Push tube
into fitting and gently pull to confirm a tight fit. arrows on
the top of the filter head indicate direction of flow.
5. attach preassembled flush valve Kit
n. Cut tubing between the angle stop valve and the filter head.
o. insert cut ends into the tee. Push tube into fitting and
gently pull to confirm a tight fit.
P. turn valve flush valve off. the valve is off when the lever is
positioned across the tubing path.
6. attach filtered Water to Sink faucet
the drinking water faucet should be positioned with function,
convenience and appearance in mind. Follow the installation
instructions for your specific faucet.
Q. install separate faucet for filtered drinking water. Follow
individual manufacturer's instructions.
r. attach faucet adapter fitting to bottom end of threads on
new faucet assembly. Plumber tape should not be required
for this step.
S. Measure length of tubing needed to connect the outlet
fitting on filter head to the new faucet adapter fitting. allow
adequate tubing to avoid sharp turns. Cut and insert each
end of the tubing into the fittings. gently pull back on the
tube to ensure it is connected properly.
