The way the BUILT-IN FIREPLACE H-03 is
installed will decisively affect safety issues and how it
works.
It is important to install the fireplace correctly.
In order to ensure it has been installed correctly,
it should be installed by a professional.
A.- Assembly
In order to install the Built-in Fireplace H-03, a
chimney ("draw") must be installed using suitable
metal pipes and must extend at least 1 metre above
the highest part of the roof.
If a built-in chimney already exists, the said
chimney must be connected to the Cast Iron Fireplace
by means of a joint and perfected connected to the
smoke outlet on the device. (See Fig.-2)
It is essential to seal the joints between chimney
sections.
It is advisable to install grilles at the top of the
hood and at the bottom of the lining to allow hot air to
circulate for two main reasons:
- provide extra hot air to the room.
- avoid possible cracks in the lining.
HERGÓM provides 25x20 and 50x20 cm. ornamental
grilles as an option.
