Start-up and use
There are two electrical plugs on the back of the appliance.
Connect the "POWER" plug to the socket in the room specifically for the appliance (socket
not connected to the energy-saving system).
Connect the "SIGNAL" plug to any socket connected to the energy-saving system.
NOTE: The appliance operates in STANDARD/TIMER mode when the "SIGNAL" plug is not
connected. Standard mode operates without detection of a guest in the room. It is regulated
by the temperature selected by the guest, as indicated by the LEDs on the operator panel.
Please note!
If the POWER and SIGNAL cables are connected to the opposite sockets, the appliance
operates while the guest is in the room and switches off when the room is empty.
To verify whether the connection is correct, check that the interior light comes on when
the door of the appliance is opened, after ensuring that:
1) the energy-saving system is not in use and the smart card has not been inserted
2) the appliance is switched on.
If the light does not come on, switch the connection of the two power cables.
