Pneumatic installation

Connect the tubing for the air supply as follows:
DRD (double−acting)
Air supply at connection 2 (A) 2:
The pistons of the quarter turn actuator
are pressurized inside and pressed
outwards.
The transmission shaft 3 carries out a
rotary motion in the anti−clockwise
direction.
The 2−way process valve (standard
version) opens.
Air supply at connection 4 (B) 4:
The pistons of the quarter turn actuator
are pressurized outside and pressed
inwards.
The transmission shaft 3 carries out a
rotary motion in the clockwise
direction.
The 2−way process valve (standard
version) closes.
When a DRE (single−acting) is used in a moist and/or dusty environment:
Note
Moisture and dirt particles can penetrate via exhaust port 4 (B) 4 and destroy
the product.
S Take preventive measures in accordance with the following table.

Pressure drop at connection 2 (A) 2:
The pistons of the quarter turn actuator
are pressed inwards by spring force.
The transmission shaft 3 carries out a
rotary motion in the clockwise
direction.
The 2−way process valve (standard
version) closes.
Remedy
Provide an exhaust feedback at exhaust port 4 (B) 4.
Screw a silencer (è Accessories) into exhaust port 4 (B) 4.
