5 | Storage
Before the gazzini Mirrors are installed, store them in the original packaging in a
place that is protected from weather and moisture.
6 | Cleaning and care
Clean the gazzini Mirror using warm soapy water or a motorcycle cleaner and a
soft cloth. Do not use a high-pressure cleaner as it may destroy the seals, and
water may get into the gazzini Mirror or turn signal. Afterwards, use a wax-based
care product which will protect the surface against the elements. Do not apply
the care product to the turn signal or the mirror.
7 | Troubleshooting
Fault
The turn signal does not
light up.
The turn signals flash
too fast or too slow.
8 | Warranty
This product comes with the statutory two-year warranty. The warranty period
begins on the date of purchase. It does not cover normal wear and tear, use for
anything other than the intended purpose, or damage caused by an accident,
tampering or attempted repairs by unauthorised persons or customer service
departments.
Possible causes and remedies
It is possible that the positive/negative cables are
wrongly connected. Check that positive is connected
to positive and negative to negative. The battery
voltage may be too low for the turn signals to
function. Check the battery voltage.
A load-independent relay must be installed because
the output power of the original turn signal is not the
same as that of the new turn signal. If a relay cannot
be installed, resistors must be used instead. (See
chapter 4.4 Electrical connection).
