INSTALLATION AND MAINTENANCE MANUAL
of filtration or re-circulation of the swimming-pool pump,
and the dosing of chemical reactants will only take place
during these cycles.
Shake slightly until the value of 475 mV is indicated on the
screen. If after a few moments the value remains stabilized
and is not equal to 475, it must be modified manually using
the keys until a precise value of 475 becomes fixed.
Fig. 9
At the end of the probe holder there is a non-return valve
to avoid backflow in the circulation of the probe holder.
Fig. 11
The probe holder contains a
filter at its point of entry to avoid
the entry of dirt into the probe
holder and thus ensure accurate
readings of the probes.
For instructions on how to clean
the filter, see 8-MAINTENANCE.
After the filter we come to the magnetic flow sensor.
In order to regulate the speed of flow and calibrate the
appropriate volume of flow use the impeller located in the
lower part of the flow sensor module. Figure 12. Under
this impeller is located a drainage point for draining the
probe holder and for taking samples. Figure 13.
The screen now gives us
information about the state
of conservation of the Redox
probe: Probe quality 100%
If values are lower than 30%
it is recommended that the
probe should be replaced.
After calibrating the Redox
probe, place the probe inside
the probe holder as indicated
in Figure 9.
Attention: Make sure the ring
seals have been put in place
correctly so as to avoid liquid
leaking.

7. CONFIGURATION OF PARAMETERS AND
STARTING UP PROCEDURE
After calibrating the probes, we proceed to configure
operating parameters.
F3 SET POINT
Press the FUNCTION key up to F3 SET POINT.
Press ENTER. The screen displays SET POINT pH
The pH correction is carried out through the dosing of an
acid product (HCl) and consequently the correction of
the pH will be achieved by reducing the pH value. If the
set point if fixed with a value of 7 –for example- once the
reading reaches a higher value –such higher as big is the
hysteresis- the instrument will initiate de dosing of acid
until a reading of 7 is reached again.
The recommended pH set point value is 7.
Press the arrow keys until the desired value is reached.
Press ENTER for 5 seconds to validate.
Now the screen displays Hysteresis pH.
The hysteresis is the range of values that fix the starting
up for dosing to keep the set point value. For example, if
the set point for pH is 7 and the hysteresis 0,2 the system
will start the dosing operation when the instrument rea-
ches a reading of 7,2 pH and will stop at 7.
The range for hysteresis is from 0,01 to 0,5.
The hysteresis value from manufacturer is 0,2.
Press the arrow keys until the desired value is reached.
Press ENTER for 5 seconds to validate.
.
The screen shows SET POINT CL
The correction of the ClF is undertaken through the do-
