value of ppm of ClF by 0.2 ppm. This situation indicates
that there exists some problem in the hypochlorite dosa-
ge line. The problems can be quite diverse: breakage of
the impulse pipe, defective chemical product, etc. Due
to the danger that these anomalies can represent, the
alarm halts the dosage and the equipment will remain on
STAND-BY.
The screen displays CL Pump Alarm.
In order to deactivate this alarm, the system needs to
be reinitiated by means of the general switch. The time
duration ranges from 10 seconds to up to 60 minutes.
In order to establish the time duration, fix the duration
desired by using the arrows and validating the value by
means of the ENTER key.
To cancel this alarm use the arrow keys increasing the
time up to find OFF position.
Press ENTER for 5 seconds to validate.
A4. PUMPS ON ALARM: The correction of pH must
always be carried out prior to the correcting of the ClF
values. It is only with correct pH values that the ClF per-
formance will be at its best. This alarm makes it possible
to regulate the maximum dosage time for both pumps
together. The time duration ranges from 10 seconds to
up to 60 minutes. It is recommended that a short time
duration should be established. This alarm leaves the
equipment on STAND-BY.
In order to deactivate this alarm, the system needs to be
reinitiated by means of the general switch. The screen
displays Pumps ON Alarm.
In order to establish the time duration, fix the duration
desired by using the arrows and validating the value by
means of the ENTER key.
To cancel this alarm use the arrow keys increasing the
time up to find OFF position.
Press ENTER for 5 seconds to validate.
A5. pH LEVEL ALARM: The level probe located inside
the container of acid reactant used to correct the pH
indicates a shortage of product in the container. This
alarm cannot be de-activated. It will only be de-activated
through the regaining of the level in the acid container.
This alarm leaves the system on STAND-BY. The screen
displays pH Level Alarm.
In order to establish the time duration, fix the duration
desired by using the arrows and validating the value by
means of the ENTER key.
A6. CHLORINE LEVEL ALARM: The level probe located
inside the container of disinfectant used to correct the
chlorine level indicates a shortage of product in the
container. This alarm cannot be de-activated. It will only
be de-activated through the regaining of the level in the
disinfectant container. This alarm is reflected on the
screen when it displays CL Level Alarm.
This alarm does not leave the system on STAND-BY and
allows the correcting of pH level if it should be necessary.
In order to establish the time duration, fix the duration
desired by using the arrows and validating the value by
means of the ENTER key.
A7. ClF VALUE ALARM: If there is a reading of the chlo-
rine value that is higher by 2 ppm than the value fixed as
SET POINT, the ClF VALUE alarm is activated to warn of
this potential risk. The EQUAL Complet equipment can-
not reduce the ClF ppm value, and it will be necessary to
wait for the oxidation of the chlorine or to change part of
the water in the pool.
• An excess of ClF is dangerous for pool users.
• An excess of chlorine accelerates the deterioration of
swimming-pool equipment.
F6 Select language
Press the F key until you reach F6 SELECT LANGUAGE.
Press ENTER. Select your preferred language with the
arrows. Press ENTER to confirm.
F7 Screen luminosity
Press the F key until you reach F7 SCREEN LUMINOSITY.
Press ENTER. Select intensity in % using the arrows.
Press ENTER to confirm.
F8 Adjusting estimated ClF. Measurement in
the pool
Press the F key until you reach F8 ADJUST. ESTIM. CL.
Press ENTER in order to enter this function. The screen
displays:
ClF mis.
0.00 ppm
Take a sample of water from the pool (from the device for
taking samples in the probe holder). Conduct an analysis
of free available chlorine using an external instrument, for
example a colorimetric analyser of plasters or pills.
Once the ClF value in ppm for the pool has been identi-
fied, correct the value in the instrument using the arrow
keys. Then confirm the value by pressing ENTER.
On the basis of this value, the instrument will mark an es-
timated ClF value in ppm for the water in the pool based
on continuous readings of Redox and pH values.
Until this correcting of the ppm value has been comple-
ted, the ClF ppm values that appear on the screen will
flicker on and off. Once the value in the swimming-pool
has been corrected using this function, the value will
cease to flicker on and off.
