NOTICE: Apply wires only to the positions designated in Table 2. Other
variations may damage the eSiren.
Mounting the eSiren
The eSiren can be mounted on any relatively flat surface with or
without the supplied mounting brackets The mounting surface
must be capable of supporting the weight of the siren. Two
installer supplied 5/16 in screws are required. Use installer‑
supplied fasteners that are suitable for the mounting surface.
Mounting the eSiren with the Brackets
To mount the eSiren with the brackets:
1. Assemble the bracket system together as shown in Figure 1
on page 9 using the supplied 1/4 in‑20 carriage bolts, washers,
and acorn nuts. Hand‑tighten the acorn nuts for now.
2. Attach the assembled mounting bracket system to the
eSiren with the six supplied 1/4 in ‑20 x 5/8 in screws.
Tighten them to 80 +/‑ 10 in‑lb.
3. Hold the eSiren against the mounting surface and use the
two mounting holes on the bracket as a template. Scribe
drill‑position marks on the mounting surface.
4. Remove the siren and drill a hole at each mark.
5. Secure the eSiren to the mounting surface using installer‑
supplied 5/16 in screws.
6. Rotate the eSiren to the desired angle (a slight downward
angle is recommended for outdoor applications).
