supplied (see RELEASE INSTRUCTIONS), drill a hole of Ø13
in the up and over door in line with the release pin [B].
3.3 Installing the left-hand gearmotor
In the event of left-hand side assembly, it is necessary to rotate
the gearmotor 180° so that the release shaft is pointing towards
the centre of the up and over door.
Follow the indications as shown in fig.10.
-
Disassemble the snap ring, unthread the lever and
disassemble the upper bracket.
-
Rotate the gearmotor 180°.
-
Thread the lever (also rotated 180°) back on, then fasten
the snap ring back on and reassemble the upper bracket.
3.4 Installing the limit switch
It is possible to install the BOXFC1 limit switch as shown in the
figures.

ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS
The BOX30 and BOX40 gearmotors can be connected to the
E1BOX control panel.
Note: if using the E1BOX control panel:
-
remove the bottom casing [4],
-
fix the control panel [10] to the base plate [7].
The gearmotor BOX3SH can be connected to the VIVAH control
panel.
The gearmotor BOX3EH can be connected to the E1HBOX
control panel.
The electrical wiring and the start-up of the gearmotors BOX30,
BOX40 and BOX3SH are shown in fig.12 -13 and in the instal-
lation manuals of the control panels E1 and VIVAH.
The electrical wiring and the start-up of the gearmotor BOX3EH
are shown in the installation manual of the control panel
E1HBOX.
5. MAINTENANCE PROGRAM (every 6 months)
Without 230 V~ power supply and batteries if present:
-
Clean and lubricate the moving parts, using neutral grease.
-
Check the stability of the automatic system and make sure
that all screws are correctly tightened.
-
Check the value of the capacity of the motor condenser.
Reconnect the 230 V~ power supply and batteries if present:
-
Check the power adjustment.
-
Check that all commands and safety functions (photocells)
are operating correctly.
-
Check the batteries are working (continuously) if present,
along with the VIVAH control panel, by removing the power
supply and making a series of operations. Once performed,
turn on the 230 V~ power supply again.
