7.3.3. Gate
1.
After positioning the gate on the adjacent
guardrail, the securing clamp must be
firmly tightened by rotating the handle rep
2 fig 16 with one hand and holding the
wing nut rep 1 fig. 16 with the other hand.
IMPORTANT: The upper bar of the gate
must be aligned (see dotted lines in fig.
16) with the upper bars of the adjoining
barriers.

Adjust the width of the gate with the
adjustment handle rep.5 fg.16 so that the
axis of the bolt rep.4 is centred on the axis
of the vertical tube of the barrier. After
adjusting the width, the securing clamp
must be firmly tightened by rotating the
handle rep 5 fig 16 with one hand and
holding the butterfly nut rep 1 fig. 16 with
the other hand.
DANGER: The gate stop rep.3 fg.16
must be installed on the secured side
of the area delimited by the guardrail.
The gate should open inside the secured area.
3.
After
installing
counterweights per double bracket. A
counterweight interface should be placed
between
every
counterweight (fig. 20)
7.3.4. Adjustable guardrail
Installation is identical to that of the barrier in
section 7.3.1.
After installation, the pin (rep.1 fg.2) must be
inserted to ensure stability between the 2 half
barriers.
IMPORTANT: After inserting the pin, the
ball of the pin should be visible (rep.2
fg.2).

7.4. Installation the guard trac™
plus guardrail
Proceed according to steps 1 and 2 of section
7.3.
7.4.1. Barrier
1.
Installation is identical to that of the
barrier in section 7.3.1 with the slight
difference that the guard trac™ plus
has
a
central
installation, the end of the central
upright will be inserted into a single
bracket (fg.15 position c).
IMPORTANT: The washer welded to the
foot of the central upright must be in
contact against the tube of the single
bracket (detail A fg.15).
2.
The single bracket is ballasted with
two
stacked
counterweight interface should be
placed between every upper and
lower counterweight (fig. 20)
3.
The barriers are connected by inter-barrier
links (rep 2 fig. 15) at a height in relation
to the installation surface of H= 870 mm
(fig. 15.1). After setting the link in place, it
should be firmly tightened onto the 2
uprights of the barrier by hand, using a 22
mm spanner.
NOTE: The assembly of the
barriers adapts to the shape of
the area to be cordoned off
thanks to the gearwheel system of the barriers
and the latch. The permissible angles are shown
in the table below (fig. 21):
