6.8 Adjusting the proximity switch

6.8.1 Rotary check

• Make sure the proximity switch (2) is set correctly.

1 Loosen the screws (4).
2 Vertically move the retaining sheet (5) in the elongated slot area.
3 Centrally align the proximity switch (2) with the transmitter disc (1).
4 Use the screws (4) to affix the retaining sheet (5).
5 Check the clearance between the proximity switch (2) and the transmitter disc (1) and correct it if necessary.
6 Loosen the screws (3).
7 Move the proximity switch (2) axially and tighten the screws (3).
8 Check the transmitter disc (1) can move freely by turning the motor.
