Continuity Test

1) Connect probes with UUT.
At resistance between 0...500k , optical
and acoustic signal.
Maintenance
Provided it is used in accordance with the in-
struction manual, the instrument needs no
special maintenance. If the instrument
breaks down our service department can
offer you a quick and economical repair faci-
lity.
Cleaning
If the instrument is dirty following use, it is
advised that it be cleaned using a damp
cloth and mild household detergent.
Never use acid detergents or solvents.
Always disconnect the continuity tester
from any circuit before cleaning.

Battery Replacement

Before opening the instrument, it must
be disconnected from all circuits.
1) Open the Continuity Tester.
2) Remove the battery from the casing.
3) Insert the new battery respecting the
correct polarity.
Pay attention not to trap the battery
leads between casing.
4) Close Continuity Tester
Please think of our environment when get-
ting rid of used batteries. They should be dis-
posed of in a place suitable for hazardous
waste.
Please, comply with the respective valid re-
gulation regarding the return, recycling
and disposal of used batteries and accumula-
tors.
If the instrument is likely to remain un-
used for a long period the batteries
must be removed. If a battery should
leak inside the housing, return the in-
strument to our works for cleaning and
checking.
