Transport and Storage

Please keep the original packaging for later
transport, e.g. for service. Any transport da-
mage due to faulty packaging will be exclu-
ded from warranty claims.
In order to avoid instrument damage, it
is advised to remove accumulators when
not using the instrument over a certain
time period. However, should the instru-
ment be contaminated by leaking batte-
ry cells, you are kindly requested to re-
turn it to the factory for cleaning and
inspection.
Instruments must be stored in dry and
closed areas. In the case of an instru-
ment being transported in extreme tem-
peratures, a recovery time of minimum 2
hours is required prior to instrument
operation.
Safety
This instrument is supplied in a perfect
and safe condition. In order to maintain
this condition and to ensure safe opera-
tion the operator must respect the refe-
rences and warnings contained in this
instruction manual.
In order to avoid electrical shock: No
voltage on the test object.
Prior to measurement ensure that the
instrument and the test leads are in per-
fect condition.
Only use the instrument in clean and dry
surroundings.
The device may not be used if the instru-
ment is moist due to changes in tempe-
rature.
Before opening the instrument (for
example to replace battery), it must be
disconnected from all circuits.
Health and Safety Regulations pertai-
ning to Electrical Systems must be strictly
observed for all tasks.
