Deep burial
In the case of a burial depths of 3.0 to max. 7.0 m, fine search is
triggered by crossing the fine search area twice.
You will know that the area is being crossed when the distance indica-
tor first drops to approx. 4 to 7 m and then rises again when you con-
tinue walking. Turn around and watch again how the indicator first
drops and then increases. After turning around again the fine search
indicator appears and you can determine the exact position as usual
by using the grid search.
Marking a transmitter at a depth of more than approx. 6 – 7 m is not
possible - in this case the victim's position is found by determining the
smallest distance indication. After that, every victim shown on the dis-
play can be homed on, located and marked.
Crossing the victim's position
twice in the fine search
area enables the position
to be marked up to a burial
depth of 7,0 m
Burial depth: up to approx. 7,0 m
Extended fine search
area: up to 7,0 m
Fine search area:
0,1– 3,0 m
up to 7,0 m
