INFORMATION
Overheating tests have been performed at thermosyphon systems. The results for
the most unfavorable of them all are:
The total solar radiation in the plane of the solar collector during the
overheating prevention test was 72,7 MJ/m
temperature from reservoir tank of 91,0°C.
When the system is in operation for several days without water removal and
the accumulated solar radiation in the plane of the solar collector is greater
than 72,7 MJ/m

, the system can be overheated. To prevent this, draw water
from the reservoir tank to a volume of approximately 3 times its content.
