Charging
In the event of danger, switch off the mains power by removing the plug from the
wall socket.
Connecting the battery
1. Check that the battery charger is switched off. The plug must be removed from the
wall socket.
2. Check the cabling and connection device to ensure there is no visible damage.
3. Connect the battery to the battery charger.
4. Start the battery charger by inserting the plug into the wall socket. The yellow LED
will come on. The charging time varies depending on the battery type and the level
of discharge.
5. Once the battery is fully charged, the green LED will come on. The battery charger
will then switch to maintenance charging.
NOTE! If a fully charged battery is connected, it takes some time before the green LED
comes on. This time may vary between 0 and 2 hours.

Disconnecting the battery

The battery charger must be switched off when disconnecting the battery. If the
battery is disconnected while the charging process is in progress, the contacts in
the charging connector will be damaged and sparks may be generated that could
cause a hydrogen explosion.
1. Switch off the battery charger by removing the plug from the wall socket.
2. Disconnect the battery from the battery charger.
