If the battery power is too low, the symbol (l) appears on the display (b) .
In order to change the battery, remove the battery compartment cover (I) from the battery
compartment (G) and remove the old battery (h). You can then insert the new battery into the
battery compartment (G) and slide the battery compartment (I) back onto the thermometer.
swItchInG the UnIt OF measUrement
In order to switch the thermometer's unit of measurement (celsius / Fahrenheit), you must
press the button (F) and it keep it pressed for two (2) seconds. By pressing the measuring
button (D), you can switch the unit of measurement. In order to save the set unit of
measurement, press the button (F) another four (4) times.
callInG anD DeletInG the measUreD valUes saveD
In order call measured values saved, you must first press the button (F) and then the memory

button (e). You can then read the last measured value from the display (b). Every time
the memory button (e) is pressed, you call the preceding measured value. The Promed
Irt-60 thermometer saves the last 32 measured values.

In order to delete the measured values, you must first press the button (F) and keep it
pressed for four (4) seconds and then repeat this using the memory button (e). As soon as a
beep sounds, all measured values are deleted. In order to check whether the deletion was

In order to switch on or off the signal sound, press the button (F) and keep it pressed for two

The promed thermometer Irt-60 is water-proof and therefore easy to clean and disinfect.
The measuring sensor (a) is the most sensitive part of the thermometer. only use a damp

cloth or a cloth soaked in mild alcohol solution in order to clean it. Never immerse the
thermometer in water. Remove the battery from the thermometer when not using it for a
longer period of time. Never expose the thermometer to direct sunlight. Make sure that the
thermometer does not fall down.
