Inspecting the silencer
Detach the silencer and remove any soot or
carbon deposits using a screwdriver. Replace
the silencer.
Lubricating the gear casings
Lubricate the gear casings on the hedge
trimmer attachment and the grass trimmer/
brush cutter attachment after every 15 hours
of operation.
Remove the lubricating screw (m) on the
gear casing and re� ll with lithium-based
grease using a grease gun.
Insert and retighten the lubricating screw.

Cleaning
Brush any dirt off the machine.
Wipe all parts of the machine with a damp
cloth. Lubricate all moving parts with
lubricating spray or an acid-free oil. Hang the
machine up when in storage.
Storage for longer periods
Empty the fuel tank and start the engine to
remove all the fuel in it.
Remove the spark plug when the engine has
run dry and has cooled down.
Pour 3 ml of two-stroke oil into the spark
plug hole and replace the spark plug.
Gently pull the starter handle (6) 2-3 times to
distribute the oil through the engine.
Clean the machine, and store in a clean, dry
and dust-free location.
