AVERTISSEMENT
This appliance is a sewage pump for dirty water from trays in the
Tray Matic range. It activates automatically.
There are two types of tank: Tray Matic int. and Tray Matic ext.
The installation procedure differs slightly depending on the type of
tray purchased.

CONNECTING THE TRAY
First, fit the connecting ring to the pump. Position the pump on the
tray. The plug ring must come to the edge of the plug

ATTACHING THE PUMP
Fix the pump to the floor with the integrated fixing lugs.
PLEASE NOTE:
the pump must be correctly fixed to the floor to
ensure the join between the tank and the pump is as watertight as
possible.

WASTE WATER OUTLET CONNECTION
The check valve is integrated into the appliance.
For the interior version: first, drill a Ø32 hole in the left or the

right of the tank according to the outlet direction

TECHNICAL ADVICE FOR WASTE WATER OUTLET:
point of discharge is significantly lower than the unit (eg a floor
lower), to avoid siphoning, install an air admittance valve
(capable of withstanding 10 psi pressure) to the high point of the
installation.

COVERING THE PUMP (FOR EXTERIOR VERSION):
With the exterior version, the pump can be positioned behind a
wall/partition. This must not be more than 25mm thick.

IN CASE OF SERVICING
For possible service requirements, provide a drain off at the low
point of the installation.

The electrical installation should be carried by a qualified person.
The unit should be installed so it is easily accessible /removable for
possible maintenance. All wiring must conform to BS7671, 1992
requirements for electrical installations. The unit requires a 220/240V
single phase AC 50 Hz supply (UK specification). Do not connect the
unit to a conventional plug and socket. The unit should be connected
to a fully earthed electrical supply (class 1). It must be wired into an
unswitched fused fixed wiring connector protected by a 5 amp fuse
and a residual current detector (30 mA). This connection must be
used exclusively for supplying the unit.
