Wire feed speed
When the machine is not welding, the set wire feed
speed in MIG/MAG or the set current in MMA is displayed.
During welding, the measured current is displayed.

Arc adjust
Normally in MIG/MAG, the required
voltage or arc-adjust is displayed and during welding, the
measured voltage is displayed. In MMA, the measured
voltage is always displayed.
Voltage in volt
5
When the machine is not welding, the set voltage is
displayed. The voltage can be set between 10 and 65 V. In
MMA, the voltage is not adjustable. During welding, the
measured voltage is displayed.
Arc adjust (MIG/MAG)
6
Arc adjust (electronic choke) makes it possible to
adjust the speed of reaction to short circuits. Arc adjust is
adjustable in steps from -5.0 to +5.0.

Lock:
Insert the SD lock card and choose "1", "2"
or "All" using the right control knob.
Unlock: Reinsert the SD lock card. For detailed

Selecting MIG/MAG welding process. Press and hold
the
key to reset to MIG/MAG factory settings.

Selecting MMA welding process. Press and hold the
key to reset to MMA factory settings.
Selecting trigger mode
12
Trigger mode can be selected in MIG/MAG. When
4-times is selected, the indicator is on. When
2-times is selected, the indicator is off. Trigger mode
cannot be changed during welding.
2-times:
Welding starts when the torch trigger is held down. To
end welding, the torch trigger is released and burn back
starts. It is possible to trigger the machine again during
post flow.
4-times:
Welding starts when the torch trigger is held down. The
trigger can then be released and welding continues. To
end welding, the torch trigger is held down again and
burn back starts.
Setting the secondary parameters
Press and hold the key at the right control
knob (3A) to open for setting the secondary
parameters. Turn the left control knob (1) to select
parameter and turn the right control knob (3) to set
values for the selected parameter. Press the key at the
right control knob (3A) to close this function. Press the
-key (12) briefly to turn display of Fxx (F = function)
parameter names on/off.
MMA hot-start (MMA)
MMA hot-start helps to establish the
arc when welding starts by means of an increased starting
current. This starting current is held for a fixed time and
then drops to the set value. The hot-start value indicates
the percentage value with which the starting current is
increased. It is adjustable between 0 and 100 % of the set
current.
Hot-start time (MMA)
Hot-start time determines the time in
which welding in hot-start takes place.
The time is adjustable between 0.0 and 20.0 seconds.
Arc power (MMA)
The arc power function is used to
stabilize the arc in MMA welding by increasing the
welding current during short circuits. The extra current
is disposed of when there is no longer a short circuit. Arc
power is adjustable between 0 and 150 %.
