Mounting Miter Saw

WARNING: To reduce the risk of

Before you start:

RIDGID miter saws bolt directly onto this
workstand.
When you are finished attaching your saw
to the workstand re-read the "Operation"
and "Safety Instructions" sections of this
manual. Make sure that you understand
how to set-up and fold the workstand
safely. Saw and workstand combination
must be stable in order to operate safely.
Mounting RIDGID 10-inch and
12-inch Compound Miter Saw
NOTE:
• Mounting holes are provided for 10-inch
and 12-inch RIDGID compound miter
saws.
• Other brands of miter saws will require
additional 5/16" mounting holes to be
drilled. See instructions below.
1. Locate the following from loose parts
bag:
M6 x 40mm bolts ................................ 4
M6 Flat Washers................................. 4
M6 Fender Washers ........................... 4
M6 Lock Nuts...................................... 4
2. Determine the correct mounting holes
for your RIDGID miter saw
3. Position the RIDGID miter saw over the
mounting holes. Always mount the
miter saw so the workpiece is posi-
tioned inline with the rollers.
RIDGID Mounting Holes:
A - 10 inch miter saw
B - 12 inch miter saw (remove miter saw
left side table extension for easier access
to workstand knobs).
C - Auxiliary holes (place M6 bolt through
bottom side of table if these holes are
used.

CAUTION: At every work place
location the saw and stand must
not rock or tip. If rocking or tip-
ping occurs, relocate the stand
to a more stable work place.
WARNING: To reduce the risk of
injury from the miter saw moving
or falling off stand, always check
that all mounting bolts and nuts
are tight before moving stand or
using tool.
