- Release the key.
The "on" key LED starts to flash slowly. When the system is turned on, it automatically opens the intercom communication.
4.2. Switching off the system
- Press the "on" key and keep it pressed for about 4 seconds until you hear a low buzz and the LEDs turn off.
4.3. Adjusting the volume
- Turn on the system.

The volume can be adjusted to 7 different levels, from the lowest to the highest. Each time key " " or "
(confirmed by a buzz in the earphone) the volume is increased or decreased by one level up to the highest value or down
to the lowest one, marked by a high buzz and a low buzz respectively.
Warning:
Cell phones (and/or other devices that can be connected to N-Com) are equipped with their own volume adjustment.
Adjust the volume levels of the connected device and of the N-Com system so as to obtain the desired volume prior to using
the system while riding.
Caution:
Listening at a very high volume may distract you from riding your vehicle and create dangerous situations or limit
the ability to hear background noises.
4.4. Turning off and turning back on the intercom mode
Switching it off
- Press the "on" key and keep it pressed for about 3 seconds.
Note: If you are connected in intercom mode with another helmet (by Intercom wire or by Bluetooth) and you wish to make
a phone call, the connection has to be cut off before making the phone call.
Turning the intercom mode back on

- Press the " " key and keep it pressed for about 2 seconds (double buzz in the earphone).
Caution:
If two helmets are connected in intercom mode via Bluetooth, only the pilot's helmet can reactivate the intercom
function (see also paragraph 6.2.2 "Using the Bluetooth intercom").
Note: In case of any malfunction, the system can be "reset". Simply remove the e-box from the helmet and then put it back
in place.
5. USING THE SYSTEM WITH A CELL PHONE
In order for the N-com Bluetooth system to work with a cell phone, the cell phone has to first be affiliated to the N-Com
system.
5.1. Affiliating N-Com to a Bluetooth cell phone
So that two Bluetooth devices are able to communicate with each other, they have to be affiliated, in other words they have
to be "introduced" to each other.
