WARNING: The efficiency of a chemical treatment using chlorine rapidly decreases when the pH is increased.
.Scale precipitates more quickly when the pH is high or unstable.
To keep pH within the advised range, only use a pH corrector product (acid or base) recommended
by your professional For your comfort, think about installing an automatic pH regulator. Warning:
a shock chlorination, a major correction of pH by adding acid or soda to the skimmers may
inadvertently set –off the alarm.
The filter and pre-filter must be clean and meet the manufacturer's specifications.
The level of stabiliser agent should be less than 50 ppm. The stabilising agent or iso cyanurique
acid protects chlorine from the effects of UV. A level which is too high will reduce the
disinfectant effect of the chlorine produced by the device. To bring down the level of stabiliser
in your pool, contact your professional.
The level of free chlorine in the pool should be less than 1 ppm when measured with your test
kit.
WARNING: The cell life is closely linked to the respect of these rules, especially the water temperature >
15°C, a stable pH around 7,0/7,2, alkalimetry, hydrometry and the correct level of stabilising agent.
It is preferable to use water from the public water supply. Avoid water from natural sources (rain, runoff
water, man-made lake, forage). In case of use water of natural origin, have the water analysed beforehand, ensure it
conforms to drinking water standards and carry out suitable treatment if necessary.
B - INSTRUCTIONS
Before starting up, carry out a shock treatment on the pool with a product free from stabiliser.
Spread the necessary quantity of salt into the pool to reach the level of 5 kg/m
must be of common quality, in chip or granular form, for example the one recommended to
soften water. Using stabilised salt is not necessary.
VOLUME (m
SALT (kg)
WARNING: The theoretical time for the volume of water to circulate through the filter is essential for the
quality of the water. Ensure that it is not more than 6 hours (to get this divide the pool volume by output from the
filtration pump).
