 Set filtration to the "MANUAL" position.
 Then set the device to position 0 using the
completely dissolved (from several hours to 24 hours). After a certain amount of time, the
device automatically goes to stand-by mode: the screen and the LEDs switch off.
 After the salt has completely dissolved, turn the device on again by pressing any of the buttons.
 Measure the level of free chlorine in the pool with your usual analysis kit. If it is less than 1.5
ppm, set the device to position 100% and let it run continuously.
 After it has run for a while, check the free chlorine level in the pool again with the analysis kit.
If it is less than 1.5 ppm, extend the filtration time on MANUAL to reach a concentration which
is sufficient (from several hours to 24 hours).
 When the chlorine level has reached 1,5ppm, set filtration to « AUTO ».
 Then adjust the filtration time according to the table below. When there is a local increase in
pollution, filter for 24 h / 24 h.
Temperature
 Set the device to maintain the level of free chlorine in the pool to between 1 and 1.5 ppm.
Several attempts will be needed to determine the value which best suits your situation. For a 25
m 3 pool, using a Model 50, you could set the device to position 5 as an initial rough estimate.
V. MAINTENANCE
Adjust the production (from 0 to 10) of the controller to keep the level of free chlorine in the pool
between 1 and 1.5 ppm.
It is IMPERATIVE to check the levels of chlorine and pH each week using your usual analysis kit. An excessive
level of chlorine and/or a low pH encourages the phenomena of oxidation on all metallic parts and can lead to non-
reversible deterioration of the pool surface, axes and automatic shutter flaps, telescopic shelters, thermal exchangers.
If you are covering the pool (shutter, tarpaulin, flap), ventilate the pool regularly to prevent dissolved gases
accumulating; these could disrupt the measurements of pH or chlorine probes. The manufacturer is not liable for the
non compliance of the rules of use.
