Conditions of use
Warning
Hot surface temperatures (up to 70 °C in normal operation, over 100 °C when
there is a fault) can cause burns or cause inflammable materials to ignite.
Make sure that hot surfaces on the linear module:
S
are either inaccessible (e.g. by means of a protective grill) or if necessary
are only accessible if sufficiently protected against burning (e.g. by
providing protective gloves which the user must wear when the hot
housing cover is removed)
are not situated in the vicinity of inflammable materials (e.g. inflammable
cleaning agents).
Warning
Strong magnetic fields impair the functioning of electronic devices (e.g. heart
pacemakers). Magnetic forces can lead to dangers (injuries).
S Always leave the linear motor 2 fitted inside the HME−...
Otherwise strong magnetic fields may occur. When the device is fitted the
magnetic fields present no problems.
S Do not modify the settings of screws and threaded pins if there is no request
to do this in these operating instructions.
S Note that magnetic fields can also occur if the linear motor is badly damaged
(e.g. due to incorrect transport).
Warning
High speeds during initial commissioning
can lead to critical movement sequences.
S Carry out the initial commissioning of
the drive system with reference travel
and low speeds, masses and forces.
Low speeds are specified with the
reference travel.
