Setting up the folder "MUSICDIR" for quick access
To prepare your CMED3PLAY to play music automatically you have to create a special folder
when you have connected your CMED3PLAY to your computer.
1) Create the folder "MUSICDIR" on the root of the first partition.
2) Create sub-folders named by three digital numbers, for example, "001", "002", "003", etc.
(You can create folders upto "999").
3) Copy music files into these folders
To use the predefined musicfolder with a screen connected, follow the next steps when the
device is in use:
1) Press the first digit of the folder and wait for the following message in your screen: "AUTO
PLAY: MP3 -> ___"
2) Press the other 2 digits of the subfolder you want to play.
It is also possible to play the music from the predefined folders if you screen is off. We advise
to use only the folders 000 - 009 for this feature. To play the music from these folders, press
the digit of the folder (0 – 9) and press the ENTER button.
The music will start playing automatically.
Note:
The time between entering the first digit and the message on your screen will increase when
you have more data on your harddisk.
To change partition:
If the device has multiple partitions, you can press MENU button to go to the partition list and
select a partition by pressing / button and
/PLAY button. As shown below, press /
button to move cursor and press
/PLAY button to confirm a selection.
Direct access media files by number pad:
Music can be played without a display device (e.g. TV, monitor) by pre-setting the music
folders (In this mode, your Conceptronic Grab 'n' Go media player starts with the first audio file
within the music folder).
Direct access button to music folder
You can create 1 music folder, which can be directly accessed by pressing the MUSIC-button
on the remote control. Create a folder called "MUSIC ***" (Where *** can be changed to
whatever you want) on the root of the hard disk and place music files in this folder.
When the media player is started and you press the MUSIC-button, the media player will
automatically open the folder.
NOTE:
If you create mode than 1 folder beginning with "MUSIC ***", the device will only open the first
folder.
