4. OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

The appliance is only suitable for the intended use.
Do not leave the appliance unattended during use.
4.1 Commissioning
Before using the device for the first time, it is necessary to remove all the packaging material and proceed to an accurate
cleaning of the pan from industrial protective greases in the following way:
- fill the pan with water and regular detergent; switch on the appliance and heat the water;
- drain the water through the draining tap and rinse thouroughly the pan with clean water.
Warning!: The cooking pan must be filled up to a maximum of 40 mm below the overflow edge, according to
the level indicated by the maximum-level marking, including the food to cook.

4.2 (Automatic) Jacket filling
Warning!: The water level inside the jacket must be checked every time before switching on the appliance.
Warning!: The use of softened water is recommended for jacket filling!
To fill the jacket with water, do as follows:
1) Turn the level tap on
2) Rotate the left knob to position 1;
now the automatic jacket filling will start
(Indicator lamp 'B')
To speed up this phase, press the button
to switch to the manual filling mode
3) Once the water has reached the desired level, turn the level
tap off and switch on the appliance
Indicator lamp A: it indicates that the appliance is connected to power supply
Indicator lamp B: it indicates that the filling solenoid valve is working
