6. Operation
6.7. Manual calibration
Important note: Before turning on the instrument, check that
the sensor is connected.
Manual readjustment of pH, redox (mV) or conductivity mea-
sured at any value within the range.
When readjusting, the instrument behaves as though it were
calibrated with a single standard solution.
6.7.1. Preparation
1. Unscrew the sensor protector.
2. Rinse the sensor with plenty of deionized water.
3. Dip the sensor into the solution in which manual calibration
is to be performed.
Note: Before beginning manual calibration, you must take a
measurement in the standard to be used in the calibration.
6.7.2. Calibration
Stir gently holding the sensor by the handle.
Follow the diagram.
(1) Hold down
and then press
Note: if the measuring instrument is not used for 5 minutes, it
shuts off automatically.
If errors occur during calibration, an error message will
appear on screen (see pg. 23).
Before beginning manual calibration, you must take a measu-
rement in the standard to be used in the calibration.
Manual calibration may be performed in pH, conductivity or
mV. Connect the appropriate sensor and select the parameter
to calibrate (see diagram).
Important: To exit calibration without saving the adjustment,
