procedure
Process gases
Make sure that plasma and protective gases are connected properly.
Only pure inert gases or mixtures of these may be used as plasma
gas.
Connecting the coolant supply circuit
Never reverse the coolant supply and return circuits on the
circulating cooling unit.
Coolant supply circuit
Coolant return circuit
Recommended coolant:
Ourge the entire cooling system as follows with every first use and after every
cable assembly change:
1. Release the return circuit cable on the circulating cooling unit and hold this
over the collecting device.
2. Close the return line and open it again by repeatedly and abruptly
releasing it, until the coolant is flowing continuously and without air
bubbles into the collecting device.
3. Switch off the circulating cooling unit and connect the coolant return line
again.
Before putting the device into operation, check all coolant levels.
Check list
• Check the connections of the cable assembly to the current source, gas
feed and cooling unit to make sure they are all tight.
• Check that the cooling unit and the flow are functioning properly.
• Check the correct flow of the two process gases
• Check the set value of the maximum main current on the display of the
current source.
Welding process
Before starting the welding process, check your protective equipment
and the surrounding area for possible dangers as outlined in
